I stared at this map for quite a while.  It really helps to explain a lot of things, like how your friends may think differently based on where they hail from. 

 

So far, I’ve lived in India, Canada and the US.  Canada and the US sit equidistant between traditional and secular rational values but tilt toward self expression and away from survival instinct.  India is also equidistant between traditional and secular rational, but is closer – but not too close – to having survival values.
